When in a committed and monogamous relationship with a
partner, can sex help you lose weight and reduce the cravings for food and burn
calories?
Many people eat for emotional reasons especially when there
is a need for some thing that lacks in their life. Eating healthy, exercising and losing weight
increases your sex drive. When problems occur in relationships and intimacy in
the bedroom is used as a pawn that abruptly stops, it may cause you to substitute
food for the satisfaction that one was getting from sex.
In an article by Tracey Rose regarding sex and weight loss, she states
that It is the satisfaction you get from
the intimacy and the feel-good chemicals you receive in the brain from having
sex that count. When your brain feels this satisfaction it stops sending you
signals to eat.
